Istared at the wall of ice before me. If only she let me explain. Maybe she would not be so mad.

I turned around and saw Daphne leaving the study and walking the other way with one of our servants. She snapped her head toward me and I could feel the rage emanating off her. I swallowed hard, and for the first time in a long time felt fear. I did not want to feel the wrath of an Ancient One. My heart cracked inside my chest. I never meant to hurt Sabrina, and looking into her eyes and seeing the pain that was in them killed me.

Dimitri walked out of the study and looked at me with a mischievous grin. Rage boiled, and something within me snapped. I let out a roar as I rushed toward Dimitri and pounced on him. We fell to the floor, and I pounded my fist into his face.

"You son of a bitch!" I screamed. My vision was filled with red. "I will fucking kill you!" I released all of the rage that I had held in for years.

It was time for payback for my mother, for Andrei, for all the terrible things he had me do.

Someone hooked their arms under my shoulders and pulled me off Dimitri. I fought against them, but they held tighter. I heard Andrei's voice screaming in my ear for me to calm down. I watched as Dimitri stood and rage contorted his blood covered face.

"Get the fuck out!" He screamed as he wiped the blood from his mouth.

I continued to fight against Andrei. I will kill Dimitri. Now is the time. It is now or never. After I finally escaped from his grasp, I was able to take a singular step before Andrei's hands grabbed my head. He quickly twisted it, and a loud pop filled my ears before everything faded to black.
